Qua Italia, 68 Ingram Street, Glasgow – April 2009

Nipped in for their £4.95 lunch menu.  I had lasagna and the man penne with creamy tomato sauce.   Decor was fresh, service quick and certainly express!  I was a bit worried when I got a spoon to eat my lasagna with but when it came I realised why – loads of sauce and not much filling.  I know its £4.95 but how much is a slice more of pasta?!  The man was still hungry after his dinner so went for a slice of cheesecake.  Impressive biscuity base and thick cheesecakey centre.  He was happy.

Toilets are a bit of a hike to get too which isnt too good and the staff prowl up and down the aisles a little too much.  OK place for a quick lunch, but I wouldn’t rush back.
