Forget the riff-raff, seek out Piff Paff this Xmas

piff paff chocolate 3We are always on the lookout for new chocolate and sweet treat gift ideas at Christmas time and Piff Paff Bakery have come up trumps this festive season. Founded by ex-Made in Chelsea star, Gabriella Tristao and inspired by her mother’s love of homemade Brazilian treats, we sampled a box filled with 12 different flavours.

We’ve never been to Brazil so haven’t tasted the original truffles ourselves but we do know that brigadeiros are bite-sized traditional sweets from Rio de Janeiro made with condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder. The Piff Paff variety can be thought of as Brigadeiro but with a twist as instead of just using traditional ingredients, the Piff Paff Brigadeiro goes gourmet with high-quality ingredients like Belgian chocolate, pistachio and ginger.

The hand-rolled truffles come in 12 flavours with tasty morsels including milk chocolate or creamy coconut, to modern combinations such as grapefruit, coconut and white chocolate. Each month there is also a limited-edition flavour, we had banana & brazil nut flavour which was something you don’t normally see in a chocolate selection.

These tasty little treats are perfect for gifting to a loved one, especially at this time of year and we all need cheering up in 2020 right?!

Piff Paff truffles are beautifully presented in a premium gift box, available in assortments of 6, 12 and 24. You can select from the “Classic Collection” (from £8.00), the “Lux Collection” (from £9.00), the “Everything Collection” (from £16.00) or the “Pick’n’Mix Collection” (From £9.00) to create your own box.  There are also special Christmas selections available here.
