The Duchess of Argyle opens this Saturday
The Duchess of Argyle opens its doors this Saturday (4th February) with the first 100 customers being munching on £1 tacos
Located in what was Rockus, The Duchess of Argyle will serve Mexican street-food, tequilas, mezcals, raicilla and more.. As well as the food there will also be a Tapatio tequila’s margarita machine – aye caramba!
The venue joins nearby Finnieston/Yorkhill joints Porter & Rye, The Finnieston, Lebowski’s and The Drugstore Social gaggle of Kained Holdings venues.
According to Kained Holdings Executive Development Chef, Scot Leask
“Authentic traditional Mexican food hasn’t really been done in the city and we’re confident we’re the ones to do it right.
The food speaks for itself, it couldn’t be further from the ‘Tex-Mex’ people have come to expect. ”
Thats a big claim. Unfortunately we haven’t been to Mexico but we have visited some tasty non Tex-Mex places over the years. Let’s see what the Duchess can do.
Location:
The Duchess of Argyle, 1038 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G3 8LX
