Newlands Bakery, 238 Kilmarnock Road, Newlands – Jan 2011

Splashed outside on the window is the proclimation that this is the best southside breakfast.  Lets see.

for £4.50 you get this

cold toast but at least hot beans to use to heat it up, black pudding is the usual tasteless one sold everywhere.   Lorne sausage wasn’t too bad (and im not too keen on lorne), the mushrooms were lovely – buttery and not slimey like normal fried ones.  Not a bad effort but certainly not the best in the southside 😉
