Triple Two Coffee open first Scottish store in Glasgow
Triple Two Coffee are a Swindon based food and Coffee brand and they will be opening the doors of its very first Scottish Store on Friday 15th June.
Located at 23 Stockwell Street, Triple Two Coffee will be serving baguettes, wraps and sandwiches alongside their own coffee.
Announcing the launch Sezan Walker, Marketing Director, Triple Two Coffee said, “We’re very excited to launch our first store in Scotland, our brand has gone from strength to strength and this opening represents a significant step forward for the company.”
It goes without saying that the coffee shop market has seen explosive growth in the UK over the last few years and even though there are many small chains and independent coffee shops the market is still dominated by the 3 large brands.
The Store Manager of the new Glasgow shop, John Paterson, has lived and worked in Glasgow his entire life. He feels that “Because Triple Two is a franchised business it gives every store a connection with the community we are dedicated to making every visit a personal experience for local people. We want to give something back by donating our unsold food to local homeless shelters at the end of the day.”
Also customers who bring reusable cups to Triple Two will be given a 25p discount on hot drinks after the company introduced the measure in a hope to change people’s habits and reduce waste.
Triple Two Coffee is celebrating the opening of its Stockwell street store at 12 pm by offering the first 50 customers a free lunch and exclusive Triple Two goodie bags. Customers that head down to the store in the first week will also be able to get their hands on their awesome coffee for £1!
