To mark National Vegetarian Week in the UK from May 16 to 22 Dunkeld’s Atholl Arms Hotel is releasing a special menu.

Delish sounding dishes include Tomato and Cucumber Tower, Spinach and Strawberry Salad, Beetroot Burgers, Scottish Mushroom Tart, Roast Carrot Arancini and Fruit and Vegetable Kebabs.

“More and more guests are asking for creative plant-based dishes in our award-winning restaurant,” said Christine Sinclair who owns the Atholl Arms with her husband Neil and is herself a vegetarian. “Our celebration of Vegetarian Week is part of the response.”

She added: “Vegetarian meals are healthy and nutritious. Our team of talented young chefs take great pride in creating a wide variety of dishes that all look as good as they taste, using our wonderful local resource of fresh farm produce.”
