Murrays_Soup2Cauliflower and applewood smoked cheese

With hand cut bread and lockerbie butter.  Delish, thick soup, just like home made with smoked cheese throughout.  Creamy and warming.

Murrays_SoupHam, Potato and leek soup

Another bowl of delish home made soup.  Very much in the style of mums soup, chunks of potato, leek and threads of ham.

Will let the images of the cakes speak for themselves…..

Interior of cafe.  Ecclectic styling, cosy and full of goodies.

Overall, friendly and chatty staff, quick service and seems to be very popular with the locals.   The soup was most enjoyable, being just like home made and the cakes heavenly.  One to definitely remember when back in the area.

We can second that opinion- we were trying a different cafe in Prestwick each week, until we found Murray’s through Gerry at ACS cycle shop. No need to look any further!! We’ve been there twice this week and its only Wednesday.
