GLASGOW WELCOMES NEW STEAKHOUSE
Miller & Carter will open their new steakhouse in the former Post Office on St. Vincent Street, Glasgow from Friday, 4 March, just in time (for Mother’s Day Sunday 6th March)
After a five month refurbishment, the old Post Office building, the new Glasgow steakhouse will create 70 new jobs and will seat up to 200 guests. It will also include a private dining room, fully kitted out for meetings or exclusive dinners.
The one thing I am looking forward to is the “Steak Table’ experience, where up to 10 guests can enjoy an immersive, educational dining package. Guests will learn more about the different types of steak; Miller & Carter’s field to fork story, and how to cook the perfect steak as well as enjoying an opportunity to sample the steaks with perfectly matched wines.
Tim Ellis, retail business manager, Miller & Carter said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be involved with such a wonderful historic building as part of our expansion in Scotland. “In terms of our expansion plans, we’ll be opening in Aberdeen city centre at the end of the summer and planning more restaurants to bring our exceptional scotch beef and quality hospitality to more venues across Scotland soon.”
Bob McQuarrie, restaurant manager added: “Bringing the Miller & Carter brand to Glasgow is an exciting move for both the business and diners in Glasgow.
“We’re all very passionate about our steaks and we’re proud to be able to demonstrate traceability, as well as the delicious flavours from the quality of produce.
“I’m very excited to be involved from the start and to work with my team to serve high quality food to our guests.”
