Malmaison, West George Street, Glasgow – 16th March 2008

Malmaison, West George Street

Nice decor/surroundings

bread, butter and tapenade were very tasty – so good extra portions were required!

Starters were chicken livers for him and Frito Misto for me – chicken livers were especially good

For him, open lasagne of haddock with mussel and saffron broth, me – confit of duck with red cabbage and spiced cornice pear
Puddings – him grand marnier parfait, me – brioche bread and butter pudding (had better)
wine was also very nice but a bit pricey
staff were courteous and helpful

– points
slow service
small portions for the money
