A ginuine treat – Scottish Gin Festival at Lidl

Gin is definitely the in thing just now and Lidl have just launched their first Scottish Gin Festival.

The festival is across all Scottish stores  and features eight gins from six artisan Scottish producers.

The length and breadth of Scotland is on show with gins sourced from Shetland, Orkney, Perthshire, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

MAKAR’s new Cask Matured Oak Aged Gin
This unique gin is aged in oak barrels for 8 weeks to give smokey pine and baked vanilla flavours

    Was in today, picked up a botte of Makar- shame there wasnt any of the other great ones you’ve mentioned- woulda picked up a fair few!
