What to expect at the Kelvingrove Cafe Champagne Grotto
It’s Christmas and time for popping the corks off some champagne. Kelvingrove Cafe have got it sorted this Christmas with their Veuve Clicquot Champagne grotto. 🥂🍾

Escape the dreary weather by heading downstairs to their Champagne grotto where you are surrounded by twinkly lights, a gorgeous Christmas tree and special cocktail and food menu. We popped in for a look as they prepared the scene for revellers to come. As we were in for a preview it was quiet, so we nipped back up to the main bar to try out the specials.
What’s on offer?
There’s Veuve Clicquot Yellow label at £8.50 a glass, and the Veuve Clicquot Rose at £10 a glass. Served in gorgeous vintage looking coupe glasses.
If you are looking for something a bit stronger, there’s also a special cocktail menu for downstairs. Citrus Paradisi, Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned are the choices on offer. We opted for the espresso martini, creamy and frothy with coffee and Hennessy.
What about food?
Another special for the Champagne grotto is the option of either a tender 40 day aged flat steak served with chips or pick the Loch Fyne Platter. Both £25pp.
