A selection of Scottish Gins to tempt you

It’s International Scottish Gin Day this Saturday 24th October and we have a selection of gin for you.  These are bottles that are a little bit different from the usual shelf fillers.

Old Curiosity’s Eidyn Gin is distilled with natural botanicals grown in the distillery’s very own Secret Herb Garden on the outskirts of Edinburgh.  Packed full of natural citrus flavours, Eidyn Gin is best served with a light tonic and a slice of lemon, or a sprig of lemon thyme.  This new small-batch gin, which will be available from all 92 Aldi stores across Scotland.

McQueen Gin has newly launched an Aldi exclusive Toradh Rhubarb and Ginger Gin (pronounced Tor-ig), best served with ginger ale and a lime wedge, is only £14.99 (70cl).

Isle of Skye Misty Isle Gin has launched Cill Targhlain Gin, the fifth expression from the distillery.  A London Dry gin style and available online here.

Eden Mill, with their Botanical Project range, have created a Passionfruit and Coconut Gin, priced at £15.99.

An extremely limited-edition gin from City of Aberdeen Distillery is made using Aberdeen-grown rhubarb. Also available in their range are lemon zingle gin and tuck shop gin with retro sweetie aromas and flavours.

Just in time for International Scottish Gin Day, and of course Christmas, The Shetland Distillery Company has launched a new hawthorn gin. The Shetland Reel hawthorn gin is now available to buy on the Shetland Reel website, priced at £29.50.
