Handily located between Euston and St Pancras Railway Stations for anyone coming from up north or Paris, Hotel Pullman London St Pancras is an excellent base for visiting London for business or pleasure. The British Library, Bloomsbury, seven tube lines and of course Eurostar trains are all within easy each.

The chic and inviting lobby area offers a quick check-in from friendly staff.  We had an appointment and asked if we could drop off our luggage at reception and return later, which was no problem at all.  We had a painless check-in and 5 minutes later, we were off…

Returning later that day to pick up our bags and get the first glimpse of our room.

A rather large modern room, in fact it is disabled friendly but it didn’t seem that way.  All the facilities of a room you need such as TV, internet, air-con, water, fridge and even some chocolates on the bed. And the room was spotless.

The bathroom was also modern and stylish and had piles of towels, a huge shower and plenty of toiletries.

The view out of the window wasn’t hard to look at either – a bonus for the rear of a hotel!  Off to the right you could see into The British Library.

We also had a peek into the gym (just for research!) How close to St Pancras Railway Station?

Of course, we had to check out the in-house bar which is bright and colorful, decorated in a quirky style with hanging hat lights.

You could perch at the bar, bar fly-style or relax nearby on some rather interesting looking chairs.

Even we were impressed by the whisky selection, we think you’d need at least a fortnight to work your way through all of these! But it’s not just whisky, they are well-stocked for other drinks too.

Sadly, we didn’t have much time to sample the drinks on offer and so it was off to bed, but of course, being a foodie I looked forward to breakfast the following morning.

There’s a plentiful selection from the hot and cold buffet for traditional breakfast items.  But what caught our eye was…

…a cheese board!  And not a bad selection for a hotel breakfast.

The vegetarian sausage was just as tasty as the “real” one. You can also order from waiting staff, so we asked for poached eggs and they got the thumbs up too!  The cold buffet consisted of various yogurts, pastries, ham, cheese, fish – almost everything.  This has to be one of the top hotel breakfasts we’ve had!

Sadly, we had to leave all too soon but check-out was pain-free just like check-in, just give your card to the receptionist and the bill / receipt will be emailed to you.

The Pullman hotel is modern, clean and functional (our room was large and disabled-friendly) providing a great stay with an excellent breakfast and a well-stocked bar should you want a nightcap! It’s also ideally located for transport in and out of the city, and around, making it a perfect base for any sort of trip to the capital. Staff were incredibly polite and efficient so we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here. The only negative is that it might be too expensive for a lengthy trip to London.

Rooms at Pullman London St Pancras start at approximately £152 per night, and you can book through their website.

TL;DR
+ Clean, modern hotel
+ Efficient check in/out
+ Great location
+ Great breakfast
+ Excellent whisky selection in bar

– A bit pricey but you get what you pay for
