Help raise money for HIT Scotland

HIT Scotland fundraiser

Our lovely friend Stephanie at Tennents Training Academy is fundraising for HIT Scotland.  Here is a piece about why she is walking the Great Wall of China.

“As 2016 slowly starts to draw to a close, I have been reflecting on all the fantastic work happening across organisations in Scotland to support our young people, there are some truly inspiring young people out there that are shaping the future, and hundreds of organisations already doing great things to support them.

We’ve had a cracking year ourselves too, topped off with being awarded with Investors in Young People Gold! Having the amazing Nicola Dillon from IIYP in and out of our business each week was a real pleasure, and she taught me no matter how much good you already do, you can always be doing more! And I agree, so I have decided I could do a wee bit more myself and get out of my comfort zone by doing something a bit different to raise awareness of another good cause.

The Challenge – So next year I’d like to contribute personally in my own time, by joining in a fundraising challenge in the run up to The Year of Young People, I have set a personal target of £2,000 so I still need a fair bit of help to raise this. I will be joining a bunch of intrepid explorers from the Hospitality Industry and we will set off to conquer the Great Wall of China in aid of raising money for further education.

If you’d like to contribute to me or the team to show us your support, (or even join us!) then please click the link for more info on this wonderful Scottish Charity – HIT Scotland.

And I promise, every single penny donated will go to this charity! (I am funding 100% of the cost of the trip myself)”
