Glasgow goes green for St Patrick’s Day

It’s St Patrick’s Day (17th March) soon so we put together some places to get together and celebrate your inner Irishness (or just Guinness!)  There’s food and of course some drink to help you celebrate.

Malone’s

Malone’s in Sauchiehall Lane (just behind Watt Brothers) are having four days of frolics with a street party on the big day with face paiting, BBQ as well as music. On 18th there will be live music and lots of Club Orange (Irish Fanta to you and me).  19th see RBS 6 Nations shown live and finally on 20th some music from 4pm with Danny Kelly, Gary Óg and Paul Sheridan.

Kitty O’Sheas have the  Ireland v Scotland  RBS 6 Nations game live on March 19 as well as Guinness and some Friar’s Well on tap. Cheers!

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.
