We are off to the races this Sunday, our first trip and hopefully to hob nob with James Martin who will be cooking at some demonstrations.  Never been to the races before or Hamilton Park properly so looking forward to this.

There is free entry for under 18’s  under-16s must be accompanied by a paying adult) and our first race is at  1.55pm.  Fingers crossed we get lucky as the seven races boast a total prize-money pot of £83,000 – now that would come in handy!

As Hamilton Park won the Scottish Racecourse Caterer of the Year title in 2013, we are hoping to try out some in house food on top of the stalls with samples and wares to sell.
The main part of the day is the aim to raise £19,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care this year, a fundraising raffle will take place with top prizes including a 32 inch HD TV, free Irn Bru for a year, free pizza for a year and a bottle of Ginger Grouse Gold Reserve on offer.
Tickets are priced from £18 in advance or £20 on the day and are available to buy online at www.hamilton-park.co.uk, via telephone on 01698 283 806 or at the gates on the day.
The James Martin cooking demonstrations take place from 1pm, 2.40pm and 4.50pm.
