The Clydeside Distillery get into the spirit of International Scotch Day with free tours giveaway

To celebrate International Scotch Day on Thursday (8th February), The Clydeside Distillery is giving away 40 pairs of tickets for free distillery tours.

The distillery, which opened to the public in November, (See Mr Foodie’s visit here) is getting into the spirit of things with a Facebook competition offering whisky fans the chance to see behind the scenes at The Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow.

Entrants simply need to visit The Clydeside Distillery’s Facebook page and tag the person they would most like to visit the distillery with this #InternationalScotchDay to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets.

Forty pairs of tickets are up for grabs for tours running on the hour from 10:00am until 1:00pm. The competition will close on Wednesday (7th February) at 5:00pm with winners chosen and notified shortly after.

Bridgeen Mullen, Visitor Centre Manager, said: “We’re marking our first International Scotch Day as a working distillery by giving our fans a real treat – the chance to visit for free on Thursday.

“Glasgow’s links to the whisky industry go back over 140 years and we’ve brought this history to life at The Clydeside Distillery. We’re helping to put Glasgow back on the whisky map and are thrilled to be taking part in this global celebration. Good luck to all the entrants and we look forward to welcoming you on Thursday to mark the occasion.”
