Three Sisters Bake open Cake Bar in Glasgow’s West End

The amazingly talented sisters behind, Three Sisters Bake, have a new destination for all your cake needs.  Their Cake Bar on Great Western Road in Glasgow opened on 1st May and Mr Foodie went along to see what it was like inside and to purchase some cakes for the office as well as some medicinal cake for Mrs Foodie.

With its neon signs and flower installations and of course, cake, this will surely be somewhere that will be on Instagram a lot.

Three Sisters Bake launch Cake Bar in Glasgow, 1.5.19Cake Bar will offer ice-cream sundaes, hot brownies, tray bakes and celebration cakes too, plus a pick’nmix counter and speciality coffee from The Gatehouse Coffee Roasters.

As well as Cake Bar, Three Sisters Bake also have a cafe in Quarriers Village, Killearn and regular pop up at Platform at Argyle Street Arches. (As well as an amazing cookbook!)

Verdict

The cakes disappeared when taken back to the office.  So a resounding thumbs up and great for those of us who can’t make it to Quarriers/Killearn as often as we would like.

Cake Bar is open seven days a week (8am-8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am-8pm at the weekend).
