Are you looking for some family friendly fun for the holiday weekend next week?  Then Princes Square can help with their Princes Fayre.  Part of Glasgow Style Mile Shopping Festival, Princes Square are holding a traditional style fete inside the square (well you know our summer!!)

There will be Postman Pat, face painting, nail painting and the chance to make your own bunting in special classes.  There will also be a stall run by the award-winning Three Sisters Bake and  you can have a shot of the indoor coconut shy!

The free ‘Princes Fayre’ event will run on the 27th and 28th of May

Claire Wilkinson from Princes Square said: “Princes Square is well-known for being a must visit shopping destination that always offers something different for visitors so as part of the city’s Glasgow Style Mile Shopping Festival we wanted to put on something that was exactly that.  We’ve never had a coconut shy or a visit from Postman Pat before so we’re sure it’s got the makings of a fun event.

“As well as coming to Princes Square for retail therapy lots of people enjoy visiting our restaurants, bars and coffee shops so the Princes Fayre event will make the visit even more special.”

As part of the celebrations, an eye-catching Festival Hub will be constructed at the bottom of Buchanan Street offering an informative and experiential environment. As well as being a place where people can pop in and find out what’s on, the Hub will feature a packed programme with takeovers from some of the city’s top retailers.
