And here are some highlights from last month's Fyne Ales beer tasting

Featuring the biggest tasting  measures I've ever seen - basically half a bottle for each beer and almost a full-house of willing participants, the Fyne ales team were quite excited to be here...

Jamie Maitland of Fyne Ales

"Honest - it was this big"

I quickly lost count of all the beer we sampled - 8 perhaps, with a bit of background about each and 3 courses of food including a sorbet made with one of the beers (see below), and there were a few limited editions including the "Land Slide" brown ale, which is a reference to the A83 (Rest and Be Thankful road) and it's continual road closures, this had a really unique fruit & caramel taste.

And there was even a competition to win a mini-keg of beer (Maverick I think it was), and one lucky winner won the general knowledge tie-breaker to take it home with him...

Winner of beer!

Winner of beer!
