We made it to our second, and their third, Juniper Festival in Edinburgh which ran from 10th to 12th June – three days of gin!

Solid Liquids have organised an amazing collection for gin lovers in the one location, the fantabulous Summerhall.

From Spain to Belgium to the USA and even nearby Callander(!), many areas of the globe were covered and from the state of our heads on Saturday morning, I think we tried them all!

But it wasn’t just gin, there was also a mix of tonics from Bon Accord, Fevertree and Walter Grigor and food from Fresh rEVOLution, Inside Out Chef and more.

Goddess of Gin – Daffy’s

We we especially liked Brooklyn Gin with its lavender aroma and floral taste; the citrus distillers’ choice Burleighs Gin; the exotic Blind Tiger Gin and the Mocha McQueens Gin.  There really is a gin for everyone here.

Koval gin from Chicago was a new one to us which caught our eye.  Smooth and easy to drink plus a handsome bottle.

Good music, people to chat to and lots of gin made the time fly by.  Gins were purchased from Drinkmonger and then it was time to stumble back to our digs to recover…

This is a great event and well worth visiting, keep a note in the diary for next year.
