Saturday 11th June 2016 sees the very lovely and knowledgeable Tom Cannavan hosting Glasgow Festival of Wine at The Trades Hall, Glassford St.

12:00 – 17:00 The Festival

Some of the world’s best wine producers, importers and retailers will be pouring 250 fine wines to taste, mystery wine competition, programme of optional tutored tasting sessions. Tickets £20

19:00 – 22:30 The BYO Dinner

Join 100 fellow food and wine lovers for a unique social occasion in the city. Bring your most interesting bottle to drink and share with a delicious 3 course meal, tea or coffee, corkage charges and service included. Tickets £69.

Hello!

I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.    

Usually I can be found sleeping beside a cat.
