Easter at Mussel Inn, Glasgow and Edinburgh

16/04/2014 by Emma Leave a Comment

AWARD-winning Scottish seafood restaurant Mussel Inn is giving all kids dining in its Glasgow and Edinburgh restaurants this Easter Sunday 20th April a free chocolate Easter egg.

Matt Johansson, food and beverage manager at Mussel Inn, said: “Mussel Inn is always a popular destination at Easter, not just because we are family friendly, but because fish and seafood is so closely linked to Easter.

“Easter is always a popular family get-together and to give the kids an extra-special treat this Easter – and to guarantee parents at least five minutes peace over a hectic weekend – we’re giving kids a free Easter egg with their meal.”

Easter weekend diners can enjoy a delicious new menu developed in response to last summer’s heat wave which caused naturally occurring toxic algae in Shetland, requiring the restaurant to temporarily remove mussels from its menu.

Whilst mussels remain a staple of Mussel Inn’s menu, the restaurant now offers a broader selection of fresh Scottish seafood dishes than ever before.

“Despite our name, we’ve always served up a broad selection of seafood options, with scallops, oysters and king prawns amongst our more popular regular dishes,” said Johansson.

  ”

Located at 157 Hope Street in Glasgow and at 61-65 Rose Street in Edinburgh.
