The Earl of Marchmont Bar, 22 Marchmont Crescent, Edinburgh – June 2012

Popped in to watch a bit of football whilst waiting to go to a gig.  Good mix of clientele in, menu was well priced and a wide selection (especially for such a small kitchen!).  Beers on tap were Addlestones Cider, Carling, San Miguel, Amstel, Belhaven Best, Guinness, Leffe, Hoegaarten and two real ales.  Good selection of bottled beers too (Innis & Gunn etc).

Noticed the lots of bowls of nachos appearing and empty bowls going back so we ordered a sharing one.

£5.95 for this, which is a bowl and not just a plate,  Kicking jalepenos and lots of cheese.  Well worth it.

Menu can be found here

Friendly staff, sparkling toilets, good nachos, excellent beer selection and nice area.  Quite fancy nipping in again.
