New Rye IPA from Fallen Brewing
We’ve been big fans of Fallen Brewery for a good few years now. Lovely guys and they brew a good beer too!
Fallen Brewery have just launched a ‘special release’ – Rye IPA Which was created and brewed by Fallen Brewing’s new Assistant Head Brewer Angus Morison.
Angus has been with Fallen Brewing since November 2017 and this Rye IPA at 7% ABV will be his first development
“As my first ‘special release’ beer here, I have brewed a Rye IPA, which is a twist on the ever-popular India Pale Ale style. I used malted rye to provide a sweet and almost tangy character to the beer. This works well with the fruitiness of the hops to really round out the flavour. It has only been brewed as a trial batch so far, and the full-sized commercial brew is pencilled in for the start of June.”
Rye IPA 7% ABV is available in keg and cans, RRP from £2.80 for 330ml from independent stockists and off-licences across Scotland and the North of England, and online: http://www.fallenbrewing.co.uk/
🍻 cheers!
We’ll let you know what it’s like once we’ve got a can.
