WIN a bottle of Pickering’s Original 1947 Gin
Pickering’s is lovingly created by its founders, Marcus Pickering and Matthew Gammell who are based in Summerhall in Edinburgh, a fantastic venue and workspace.
This edition of Pickering’s Gin is made precisely to the original recipe, as it was written down in Mount Mary, Bombay, in 1947. This is a sweeter and spicier gin than their Pickering’s Gin with cardamom, coriander, clove and cinnamon spices.
Their Christmas Gin Baubles have been hit this year, selling out (I was too late to get one as well!), however there are lots of things to buy from their online shop.
Recommended serve: with ice, tonic and a slice of orange. For a more warming drink, substitute tonic water for ginger ale.
