Dance around St Enoch Centre and Square

Full day of dancing fun at St Enoch Centre and square.

Dance  fans should head along to St Enoch Square and Centre this Thursday 6th August, as part of a unique street dance event in the city.

As part of publicity for the end of the month UDO World Street Dance Championships  a host of performances will be held throughout the day and have the chance to meet a number of exciting acts including famous Scottish boy band, Rewind.

The pop-up UDO qualifier will see passers-by given the chance to win Dance Show LIVE! tickets, prizes from stores including St. Enoch Centre, H&M and Tesco, meet and greets with stars such as Jake Quickenden, and UDO-branded hoodies and t-shirts.

The free event is set to give the people of Glasgow a flavour of what will be on offer when the street dance extravaganza Dance Show LIVE! comes to Glasgow on Sunday, 30th August. This event will feature a packed programme of workshops, industry master-classes and celebrity performances across a variety of dance genres.

The UDO World Street Dance Championships Final Battle will take place at St Enoch Square and St Enoch Centre from 11am to 5pm on Thursday, 6th August.

The UDO World Street Dance Championships will take place at the SECC from Friday to Sunday, August 28-30.

Both the World Street Dance Championships and Dance Show LIVE! are open to the public and tickets can be purchased from the SECC on the day.
