The Smoking Gong the adamson st andrews cocktail

To celebrate their wins this year as Scotland’s 2015 ‘CIS Restaurant of the Year’,  ‘Best Restaurant Experience’ at the Scottish Thistle Awards Fife & Tayside Regional Final,  and ‘Highly Commended’ at this year’s SLTN awards. The Adamson in St Andrews have created a limited edition cocktail called The Smoking Gong to celebrate.

 

Cocktail Recipe: Smoking Gun by The Adamson, St Andrews

Ingredients
  

  • 60 ml Talisker
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • 2 drops angostura bitter
  • 1 egg white

Instructions
 

  • Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake vigorously in a Boston with ice and then shaken a second time without ice.
  • Double strain the into the chilled rocks glass, with a lemon twist and cherry on a stick.
  • Please the cocktail in the large glass jar and add smoke with the smoking gun.
