Try these tasty recipes for International Coffee Day at home

It’s International Coffee Day 2017 today (1st October) and we have 3 recipes that you can make at home to enjoy a cup of joe.

This is one for those who love some sweetness to their coffee.  Is there a more heavenly mix than Nutella and Coffee?

Nutella Coffee

Ingredients:
Coffee
Nutella
Milk

Method:
Place a scoop of Nutella in your mug. Start at one teaspoon and add more if you feel truly decadent.
Pour espresso over top.
Whisk until melted and all chocolatey.
Fill the mug with steamed milk and foam.
Relax into heaven!

Next another chocolatey coffee mix with a twist of nutmeg for a more autumnal taste

Mocha Coffee

Ingredients:
400 ml Coffee
400 ml Drinking chocolate
4 tbsp Whipped cream
2 tsp Nutmeg

Method:
Mix the coffee and drinking chocolate in a sauce pan and heat over a medium heat.
Add nutmeg and stir.
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream.

International coffee day Spiced Iced Coffee

Ingredients:
Strong black coffee – enough for 4 cups
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons ground cardamom
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
crushed ice

Method:
Add the ground cardamom to the coffee and brew.
When the coffee is brewed add the almond flavouring and sugar (this can be tweaked to your sweetness preference).
Stir.
Allow the coffee to cool.
Fill four 12 ounce highball glasses half way with crushed ice.
Add the coffee mix until the glass is 2/3 full.
Stir in around 1 tablespoon of milk.
Serve.
