Cafe Zest, Jenners, Edinburgh – May 2009

DSCF9587

Completely starved so we ventured into Jenners for some late lunch.  Pasta of the day and a glass of wine for £6.95 – sounded good so we ordered and waited.  Garlic toast and some dried parmasan came out, and waited, and waited.  Then came the pasta – penne with bolognaise sauce.  Looked good but needed a good dose of black pepper to give it some taste – ok if you are starving but I would’ve been disappointed otherwise.  The red wine that came with the meal was good and a good glass size too!
