Brunch at Côte Brasserie

A gaggle of bloggers, some fizz and food really is a great way to spend a Sunday.

Côte Brasserie invited a bunch of us in for their brunch and to have a chance to relax, chat and see what Côte is all about.

I’ve only been into Côte briefly so was looking forward to a try of the food and a proper nosey inside.

Ambience

Brunch certainly has taken off in Glasgow. Years ago going out for breakfast meant a walk to the local shop to pick up the rolls and paper! Inside Côte it was busy and a steady stream of customers.

The decor is classical with a nod to Art Deco.  The atmosphere matches, chatty but not raucous.

Food

After a very tasty flat white and warm pain aux raisin, it was time for some eggs royale.

Toasted muffin topped with butter, salmon and hollandaise sauce.  Creamy sauce covered the perfectly poached egg.  It was so tasty, I was quiet!

It was great to get the opportunity to have a chat  and relax over some tasty brunch.  The staff did well handling about ten orders for poached eggs at once!

I’ll be bringing MrFoodie back for some brunch.
