Bite Magazine is delighted to announce full details of its upcoming seasonal food event, which will take place on the afternoon of Saturday 22nd November 2014 at The Counting House in Edinburgh.
For those among us whose Christmas gift list – both given and wished for – usually starts and ends with food & drinks, this event will be sure to please. The cosy Christmas fair (120 tickets) features a sparkling list of some of Scotland and Edinburgh’s finest suppliers and producers. From gourmet shortbread, marshmallows, cakes and chocolates, to rapeseed oil, Italian truffles and Scottish charcuterie, there really is something for everyone. Not forgetting the classic Christmas pudding, of course! Guests will be treated to samples of all the suppliers’ gourmet produce and will also have an opportunity to buy items on the day.
Event sponsors, Edinburgh Gins will be warming up guests on arrival with a welcome G & T perfectly served using their classic original Gin. You can also sample the newest addition to their range of creative flavours; Rhubarb and Ginger.
Bacco Wines will be running tastings throughout the afternoon in the private bar, matching some fine Italian wines with delicious panettone.
Talented young private chef Russell Smith, of Russell-Up Catering, will be running food demos, sharing ideas and tips on how to plate up easy but elegant dishes over the festive period.
Tickets include a welcome G&T from Edinburgh Gins, delicious sampling from a selection of stalls, wine and panettone pairings & food demos and a goody bag to take home.
Bite Magazine’s Editor, Sharon Wilson says ‘I’m delighted to have this exceptional selection of food & drinks producers and suppliers on board for the event. Everyone loves a delicious treat or two at Christmastime and all the stallholders are looking forward to bringing along some delicious treats on the day’.
This boutique event promises to be a fun, interactive afternoon, filled with great food, drinks and a little bit of festive magic!
