Bibis Cantina, Partick, Glasgow

We had been meaning to visit Bibis for a good while and being out and about as well as hungry drove us there.  It was bank holiday evening and we were looking for something a little different.

Settling down we received a couple of  shots to cool us down in this muggy weather as well as a dish of nachos with some delish salsa.
The inside is cosy without the garishness of Panchos, some stylish Mexican travel posters surround the dining area.

Waitresses were friendly but could be a little bit more attentive in the speed of service, we gave up on dessert as it was that slow – I got bored waiting 🙁

we shared a starter of sweetcorn fritter with bacon and guacamole.  Very fresh and tasty.

For mains we had Lemon Prawn Fajitas and a Beef Buritto.

Both mains went down well, fresh and tasty.  However!  Three torillas wasn’t enough for the prawns and I felt that some Guacamole, Sour Cream would have went nice at the side of the Beef Buritto plate. 🙁

Overall we liked it and would give them another try, but will head for the early bird menu which is three courses for £11.95.
