Craft beer clan release whisky barrel aged beers

Craft Beer Clan of Scotland are expanding into the speciality beer market with four whisky barrel-aged beers brewed in partnership with Williams Brothers.

Four new beers using barrels from four whisky regions – Speyside, Highlands, Lowland and Islay – and is already exporting to markets in Japan,Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong.

 

Headed by Chris Miller who grew Harviestoun Brewery into one of the UK’s leading craft beer producers. Miller has more than 20 years’ experience in the sector and has worked with Scott Williams, founder and brewmaster of Williams Brothers Brewing Co, and international whisky guru Charles PB MacLean to produce these new beers.

The four Clan Brewing Company beers are being sold exclusively through The Whisky Shop’s 20 outlets as well as its Paris store and at www.whiskyshop.com
