FAQs

What’s a tiffin?

A tiffin is an Indian layered lunch box — each layer contains a different dish – usually a non-veg or veg main, a dhal and rice. We’ve taken this as our inspiration and packed our freshly made meals into microwavable containers which means you can simply heat and eat. Our menu will change week to week giving you the chance to sample lots of authentic Bombay cooking that you won’t find anywhere else.

How it works…

Place your order the day before and we’ll arrive at your office between 10.00am – 1.30pm on Wednesdays / Fridays where you can buy a tiffin from one of the team. It’s that easy.

I’m a creature of habit I have soup on Wednesday and fish and chips on Friday, can you come another day?

If we have enough interest we’ll certainly do our best, email us and let’s talk.

Can I give you the tubs back to re-use?

We wish we could take them, but health and safety would waggle its big finger at us. So we encourage creative recycling (it’s like free tupperware) or normal recycling. It’s over to you.

Devoured your tiffin and need more?

We’re at 186 West Regent Street 7am – 6pm Mon— Fri & 10am – 6pm on Sat

Edinburgh Stockbridge Market every Sunday

and pop at at festivals around the country
