The Allsop Arms, Marylebone

The Allsop Arms is a bit of an anomaly; a two story brick built pub surrounded by taller concrete siblings.

You will find it on Gloucester Street at the corner with Dorset Square…. Near Baker Street and Marlybone stations. It is a Greene King house serving a reasonable selection of beers (including Punk IPA) and what you would expect in the way of snacks and pub grub.

Prices are good for Marlybone. £4.30 for a Guinness which in these parts is a bargain.

Needless to say the prices make it popular with local folk. As pubs go it is fine. Not the place for your big night out, but ok for a peaceful pint. So why would you come here? Well National Express and easyJet airport buses stop outside the door making it a good choice for that farewell pint.
