Public transport is on your doorstep too with buses to Maida Vale passing by the tree-lined road.

The Victorian apartments have the perfect balance of history and modernity with facilities such as secure entry and a lift but the period architecture is still clear to see. Once inside we checked out the facilities, which also included free WiFi which was very handy and always available in the apartment.

Large double bedroom

The large double bedroom had plenty of storage as well as being large enough for a cot should you need one. The room was light and airy with very little noise from the road outside.

The apartments would suit visitors who want a home-from-home but want to be near good transport links as well, with Paddington Railway Station & Underground a short walk away guaranteeing easy access to the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines with Lancaster Gate also nearby for the Central line. The apartments were well-located for Hyde Park with plenty of restaurants, bars and good shops in the local vicinity too. Inside, the apartments were well-maintained, clean and had everything you needed for a short or much longer stay and being serviced, you only have to worry about yourself.  An iron was also provided.

Apple Apartments have locations throughout the UK and further information can be found here.  A one bedroom apartment (note that this one slept up to 4 utilising the sofa bed) can be rented from £230 per night with offers for long-term stays.

TL;DR

+ Excellent location
+ Everything you would need e.g washing machine etc
+ Ideal for stays of a week or longer

– Short stays can seem expensive

We received one night’s accommodation for the purposes of a review.  Fred says paws up to an honest review from his human.
