Yiamas
A favourite of ours (we really should write about it as we always enjoy their gyros!). Yiamas on Bath Street have Christmas with a Greek flavour. Feta cheese and cranberry parcels, turkey souvlaki and green bean stew are on offer with chocolate Baklava to finish. Read more here.

Mharsanta
On Bell Street in the Merchant City is a relative new-comer to Glasgow – Mharsanta, named after the Gaelic word for ‘Merchant’, can be found where Pancho Villas used to be. Starters feature a Haggis Stack or retro Prawn Cocktail while mains include a Flat Iron Steak or traditional turkey. You can even finish your meal with Irn Bru Cheesecake!
Mharsanta, 26 Bell Street, Glasgow, G1 1LG
Browns
Look onto the twinkly lights of George Square from Browns. For festive lunching, Christmas party nights or family get-togethers. Browns is even open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. A festive gluten-free menu is also available.

Pizza Punks
Pizza for Christmas? Pulled turkey and pigs in candied blankets on a pizza or there’s a full breakfast pizza to try! A vegan pizza with meat & dairy-free haggis is also on the Christmas menu. I’m torn between the mince pie dough balls and the peppermint Russian for dessert.
Pizza Punks, 90 St Vincent Street, Glasgow
Bell and Felix
Head Southside to Bell & Felix for a relaxed Christmas. Traditional vegetable broth or colourful feta and pomegranate salad. Then move onto roast turkey or sweet potato and red pepper parcel. Do you think you’ll have room left for the sticky toffee pudding?
Bell & Felix, 248 Kilmarnock Road, Glasgow
