Two Fat Ladies head to Troon!

TWO FAT LADIES TO HAVE A TASTE OF TROON

 

 

The four-star Troon hotel, The Marine Hotel, have hauled themselves a catch with the first  Two Fat Ladies, outside of the city.

 

Overlooking Royal Troon golf course and the beach, The Marine Hotel partners well with the Two Fat Ladies brand.

 

It will launch as   Two Fat Ladies at The Marine in late September/early October. Their New head chef, Andrew Beattie, brings over a decade of creative cooking experience, including with the Two Fat Ladies group. The restaurant will be serving seasonally inspired menus including the freshest seafood from our coastline, coupled with locally sourced meat and game.

 

New restaurant manager and Troon local, Ashley Hardcastle, will head up a 20-strong team of skilled waiting staff. The Marine is currently recruiting and hope to attract the very best in the area at all levels, both for the restaurant and the kitchen.

 

 

Typical dishes on the menu are likely to include flash fried west coast scallops, spiced dhal & lime coriander sour cream, whole lemon sole, smoked bacon and tomato butter and glazed strawberries & raspberries, cherry brandy sabayon, peach ice cream.

 

The hotel will also launch a special dinner, bed and breakfast package, to include a three course meal and an overnight stay. Prices start from £109 based on two people sharing a room, on Sundays to Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays are subject to a £20 supplement. Offer must be booked by must be booked by October 31st and runs from 23rd September to 22nd December 2013.
