A date for the diary for Glasgow foodies is Friday 28th April when Delizique on Hyndland Street, in Glasgow’s West End, is launching a series of pop-ups, starting with Paleo Canteen.

Already known for their delicious food, the Delizique team will be transforming their shop into a paleo heaven.  The paleo way of eating has been in the news as a way of embracing a more primitive way of eating.  Out go processed foods, sugars and trans fats and in are foods which are naturally gluten-free low in carbohydrates, and packed with flavour.  Delizique and their Paleo Canteen are taking natural foods and cooking them with flair, showcasing the natural flavours of the food.

The evening will begin with oysters and fizz, followed by chicken broth & spring greens. The main event consists of mixed grilled skewers of Lamb Kofta, Chicken, Vegetable and Barberry Paneer, and a sharing platter of marinated aubergines, roasted wedges, carrot & green sultana slaw, crudites, za’atar yoghurt dip, roast tomato ketchup, coconut chutney, pickles and griddled roti. To round the evening off…ricotta, honey and mixed berries.
